Katherine
Jones began dancing at age 4. She is an alum of
DanceXpressions, formerly Lancaster Dance Academy, where
she trained for 14 years. She recieved a BA in Dance
Studies from Texas Woman's University. After college, she
danced professionally with “Muscle Memory Dance
Theater,” a modern dance company based in Denton. Ms.
Katherine has been teaching since college and
choreographing for several schools and teams in the D/FW
area. In 2009, she returned home to DanceXpressions and
took over as owner and director in 2010. She is also the
assistant director of the Red Oak High School Hawkette
drill team. Her main emphasis is teaching students a love
of dance and proper technique.
