TUITION---- Your monthly tuition is $_______ Due by the 1st class of each month. After the 10th of the month, a $10.00 late fee will be applied. Tuition is based on a minimum 34 classes for the session; there is no tuition reduction for classes missed or holidays. Months with five weeks will make up for those classes missed during holidays. There is a $20.00 fee on all returned checks. After the second returned check, cash only will be accepted. **Withdrawal Notice: We require written notification prior to the end of your last month; otherwise you will be responsible for the next month’s tuition.
CLASS RULES---- All students are required to wear appropriate dancewear to class.
Please put child’s name in shoes and on bag. Hair should be pulled neatly out of face. No food or gum is allowed.
3 YEAR OLDS - 5TH GRADE: black leotard, pink tights (no panty hose), black “patton” tap shoes, pink ballet shoes (no satin)
(black jazz shoes-1st grd & up) No T-shirts or shorts allowed, Dance skirts must be short - pink or black only. No dress-up skirts
ALL OTHERS: leotards, tights, etc. in any color. Tights must be worn in ballet (no panty hose), no T-shirts or shorts.

Please bring students to class on time as late arrivals distract the class. If your child is more than 15 minutes late this may be counted as an absence and would need to be made up for perfect attendance. Please pick up students on time, the employees of DX cannot be responsible for children left in the lobby after class. If your child is going to be absent, please call the studio.
Please do not bring your child to class is he/she has fever, lice, rashes, or anything contagious.
PARENTS’ VISITATION DAY---- On the following days, parents are invited to come in and watch class.
On all other class days, the dance room door will remain closed so that the teacher has the students’ full attention.
Room 1: October 24-27, February 13-16
Room 2: October 31-Nov 3, February 20-23
Room 3: November 7-10, February 27- March 1
Room 4: November 14-17, March 5-8
HOLIDAYS ---- The studio will be closed on the following school holidays:
Labor Day: September 5 Thanksgiving: Nov. 21-24 Christmas: Dec. 19-29
MLK Day: January 16 Spring Break: March 12-15 Memorial Day: May 28
SPRING RECITAL---- All students will participate in the annual spring recital at the end of May.
Student account must be current with a zero balance; all late fees must be paid in order for him/ her to perform.
COSTUMES: Each student will perform a dance for each class he/she is enrolled; one costume must be purchased for each. Three year olds through kindergarten will have one costume. Each student must also purchase toast and pink tights for recital.
YOUR CHILD’S COSTUME PAYMENT IS ___$60__ x __________=___________
THE ENTIRE COSTUME PAYMENT IS DUE OCTOBER 6
NO COSTUME ORDERED WITHOUT PAYMENT. For special arrangements, please speak with Ms Katherine.
RECITAL FEE: A $55 recital fee is due on March 7. This fee helps defray the cost of auditorium rental, lights, props, etc.
AWARDS----. Perfect attendance awards will be given to students with no absences. Make up classes must be done the first week following an absence. It is your responsibility to check attendance records often and schedule make up classes- students will not be allowed to make up previous classes at the end of the year.
Trophies are given to students who have completed 3, 5, 7, 10, 13, 15 years at DX
PICTURES---- Pictures in recital costumes will be taken during April, (date and time TBA).
Group and individual pictures will be available. There is no obligation to buy.
BAD WEATHER---- The studio will close when the Red Oak ISD closes, or at Ms. Katherine’s discretion.
REFERRALS---- Any student, who has been with DX for at least one session, will receive a $25 credit on their account when he / she refers a new student. The new student must enroll for a full term and indicate current student’s name on registration.
COMMUNICATION---- www.dancexp.net 972-617-1234 Students will often receive letters to take home after class.
